Artworks by IVS students put up at CHK, DUHS

Karachi:February 14:Artworks prepared by students of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS) have been put up at the Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) and the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS).

Students of IVS’ foundation programme had prepared the five large-sized murals as part of a community-based project of their curriculum. The project was a collaborative effort of IVS and CHK, read a statement issued by the varsity. All five murals depict comforting images based on the theme of ‘nature’.

The statement highlighted the role of DUHS Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khawar Saeed Jamali in designating space for the murals in the out-patient department of the CHK and the main waiting area of DUHS.
