DUHS staff demands arrest of Kharal’s killers

KARACHI:01 January: Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Hameed Khan and faculty members of the university have expressed heartfelt grief, sorrow and deepest sympathies with the family members of Dr Saleem Kharal, Head of the Pathological Department at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, who was shot dead on Friday night. In a press release issued here on Saturday, DUHS demanded of law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of doctors’ fraternity. They called a judicial inquiry to investigate the issue. The university has called for taking strict action against the culprits involved in the killing of the doctor.Daily Times.
