In pursuance of approval of the Governor Sindh who is also Chancellor, the University of Sindh has issued orders of up-gradation of 44 teachers of the University in next higher grades as personal grades under hardship. 4 Associate professors of BPS-20 have received orders for BPS-21, 37 Assistant Professors from BPS 19 to BPS-20 and 3 Lecturers of BPS18 to BPS-19. The Pro Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Parveen Shah here on Monday distributed orders among to 38 faculty members of various teaching institutes and departments of the University in simple but memorable ceremony took place at the University’s Senate hall.
She congratulated to the faculty members for their promotion/ up gradation and expressed hope that they would work with more dedication for the benefit of the students and society. Dr. Shah said that the efforts were made by Vice Chancellor Dr. Nazir A.Mughal for up gradation of University teachers on hardship basis.

The Registrar Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro while highlighting procedure informed that University has adopted procedure as approved by the Chancellor. On hardship basis 4 Associate Professors Khair Muhammad Zardari, Muhammad Rafiq Dhanani, Dr.Asad Shaikh and Syed Abdul Ghaffar Shah Rashidi received up gradation orders in BPS-21. Amongst Assistant Professors Ms. Nargis Raza Odho, Ghulam Hyder Baloch, Mrs. Anjum Jawaid Pirzada, Mirza Saleem Baig, Dr. Atique Ahmed Jilani, Nazir Ahmed Gopang, Muhammad Aslam Pathan, Ghulam Rasool Jamali, Dr. Hakim Ali Kanasro, Muhammad Aslam Kamboh, Nabi Bux Siyal, Ms. Sultana Solangi , Mrs. Najma Usman, Muhammad Nawaz Bughio, Dr. Imdadullah Siddiqui, Mrs. Lubna Seehar, Kamaluddin Memon, Abdul Satar Porgar, Mrs. Rashida Bhatti, Latafat Ali Chughtai, Dr. Rukhsana Jokhio, Jiando Shaikh, Dr. Hidayatullah Mahesar, Muhammad Akbar Shaikh, Mrs. Fahmida Memon, Ghulam Shabir Shaikh ( Zoology) , Mrs. Sheerin Gul Soomro, Dr. Rizwana Chang, Har Bux Makhejanai, Dr. Aslam Parvez Memon, Mrs. Yasmeen Iqbal, Ms. Munawar Sultana, Dr. Farah Lalani, Ghulam Shabir Shaikh ( Public Administration), Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, Imtiaz Ahmed Pirzado and Dr. Sobho Khan Jamali have received up gradation orders in BPS-20 while 3 lecturers have received up gradation orders in BPS-19 which includes Muhammad Ali Leghari, Ms. Moina Akhtar and Mrs. Fahmida Aslam Memon.
