Karachi:The Madressah students, who are appearing in the exams of the matriculation board, do not need to appear for the math paper, the members of Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) decided during the proceedings on Tuesday.
This decision was taken due to the Federal government failing to provide math books on time. The government had to supply the ‘Easy Math’ book for the students of the Madressah but due to reasons best known to the Federal government, the book was not delivered in time.
The members of the IBCC meeting have also come up with the formula to settle the matter of the marks of O and A Levels, according to which these students, now have the marks equivalency as compared to the matriculation students. The IBCC has also pointed out a new educational policy, where the recommendation has been sent to the Federal Educational Minister for consideration. The Chairman of the Boards of Sport’s Committee, Farhad Jan, told the members of the IBCC that a 20 per cent token grant has approved for the educational departments which will be holding different sports activities as well. The news
