Karachi:The supplementary result of the Higher Secondary School Certificate, Part-II, Pre-Medical Group, 2009, was declared by the Board of Intermediate Karachi (BIEK) on Wednesday.
Over 1263 total male candidates were registered for the examination. Of them, 1209 appeared and 353 passed. The overall pass percentage was 29.20, the Controller of the Examination, BIEK, Professor Agha Akber Mirza, said.
He also said that 36,46 female candidates registered for the examination whereas 3514 appeared while 1,332 passed the exams. The over all pass percentage remains 37.91, he added.
According to Mirza, only one unfair mean case was registered during and after the supplementary examinations.
The result shows that only two male candidates bagged A-1 grade in the exams while no female candidate had this high-status result.
Furthermore, three male and six female achieved A grade and 19 male and 102 female had B grade in the supplementary exams. Meanwhile, 117 male and 680 female had C grade whereas 202 male and 540 female passed with D grade.
The result also shows that seven male and two female merely managed E grade. Mirza added that three male and two female candidates pass the result without any grade.The news
