Karachi:Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK), announced the supplementary exam results of Humanities (Regular and Private) Group on Wednesday.
According to the Controller of Examination Professor Agha Akber Mirza, at least 17 unfair means cases were reported during the exams of Humanities (Private) Group. As many as 2,300 male candidates registered for the examination, of whom 2,195 appeared and 1,319 passed the supplementary papers, with a pass percentage of 60.09.
Similarly, 2,131 female candidates registered for the examination, of whom 2,036 appeared and 1,155 candidates were declared successful. The overall pass percentage was 56.73. Marks-sheets would be despatched to the candidates’ mailing address as given in the examination forms.
Out of 731 male candidates registered for the Humanities (Regular) Group, 678 candidates took up the papers and 300 passed the exams. The pass percentage was 44.25. 3,929 female candidates were registered, of whom 3,702 appeared in the exams and 1,613 were declared successful, with a pass percentage of 43.57. No unfair means case was reported during and after the exams.
