HYDERABAD, March 5: Academic and administrative activities were resumed in all the universities of Sindh on Jamshoro, Tandojam, Khairpur and Nawabshah campuses on Saturday after acceptance of the demands of the All Sindh Universities Employees Federation.
When leaders of the federation led by chairman Hussain Bux Veesar reached the Tandojam campus on Saturday, they were showered with flower petals by employees.
Pro-vice chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University Dr Rahim Bux Mirbahar also reportedly met the federation leaders. Speaking on the occasion, Hussain Bux Veesar said that the truth had finally triumphed.
He announced that employees would observe a cleanliness week in the university. He condemned the excesses against the Sindh University employees during the protest movement.
He said that the employees would work overtime and perform their duties with honesty.
